Steve Wolin is an author and clinical therapist who has developed interviews to talk about resiliency's and abilities to bounce back from adversity. The videos explore inner strengths.
1. James: Out of the Ghetto - James grew up in a rough part of south Chicago in poverty and violence. At 11 he was a gang member, and at 16 was homeless. The video helps him explore his strengths.
2. Sean: Trailer Court Kid (20 min.) Sean grew up in a single parent family living in a trailer court and saw a succession of mom's boyfriends, drugs and alcohol. He saw frequent abuse of his mother and spent time in foster homes and treatment shelters. Dr. Wolin explores his abilities to bounce back and begin to thrive.
3. Tanika: Sixteen and on Her Own (20 min.) Tanika left home at 16 after much indifference from her mom, and sexual abuse at the hands of a family friend. She displays remarkable resilience and discusses per pain, and how she channels it into drama and singing. Comes with discussion guide.

A hard-hitting video that realistically deals with the topic of date rape as a crime of anger, power, and control. It examines the relationships of four high school friends whose lives have been affected by an incident that happened to one of them. It contains interviews with rape counselors and discusses strategies to prevent date rape.
